Paul Taylor - Director
Paul is one of the few people in Australia who is both an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and practicing Nutritionist. He holds a range of high-level qualifications relevant to the fitness industry, including 2 Masters Degrees (one in Exercise Science and one in Nutrition) and the highly-regarded American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health and Fitness Instructor. He is also a part-time University Lecturer in Exercise Science, Corporate Speaker, Network/Filex Presenter and Radio Presenter. Paul is a world leading educator and was a key speaker at the 2008 Meeting of the Minds in Colorado, USA.
Robert Cappuccio - International Speaker -
Robert has held various position, such a personal trainer, fitness manager, membership sales consultant, area director, corporate training and development director and director of professional development for NASM. Robert's passion is to help people create a more empowering self-perception by exercising their ability to affect change in their life through health and fitness. As an international speaker, Robert has developed and inspired thousands of trainers, managers and industry leaders to facilitate remarkable change in both their lives and their business. Throughout his career, Robert's articles have appeared in various fitness publications, he has been featured in numerous trainer development videos, been a contributing author of two textbooks, has been invited to speak at leading industry conferences and has been highly sought-after by the most recognised health club chains in the world.
Michol Dalcourt
- Michol is an educator, author, trainer, inventor and an industry leader in the areas of human movement and performance training. As an international lecturer and educator, Michol has authored numerous articles on human design and function, and developed a series of performance videos. He has served as an instructor at the NAIT College School of Health Sciences. His innovative techniques have been adopted by some of the top international fitness certification bodies. Michol has given well over 300 international lectures and has been asked to speak at many of the world's top fitness conferences. He has done extensive work and field research in the areas of human performance and as such consults with some of the fitness industry's biggest companies. He also holds the impressive title of PTontheNET.com's "2003 Presenter of the Year."
Craig Harper
- Pioneer of Personal Training in Australia, Exercise Scientist, owner of Harpers Personal Training, one of the largest private PT Centres in the world, Craig is probably the most recognisable name in Personal Training in Australia. His studio conducts over 1500 Personal Training sessions per week, the most of any centre in the world. Craig has personally conducted over 40 000 PT sessions, so he knows what works and what doesn't. Craig is also a corporate consultant, radio presenter (GOLD FM and SEN) and fitness expert for Channel 10. He is also an author of 4 books and is widely recognised as an expert in Motivation and Communication.
Ian O'Dwyer
- Has the unique ability to turn research into practice and produces amazing results with his clients. Ian presents in the USA, South Africa, UK and Australia..A naturally gifted and passionate speaker, Ian has presented seminars for industry leaders and fitness chains in the US (New York, Washington, San Francisco, Connecticut, Boston and Denver), UK, South Africa, as well presenting regularly in the major capitals of Australia. Ian has filled many positions from playing and coaching to sports conditioning athletes for over 20 years before becoming the owner of Fitness Personally Training Studio in Noosa Heads, Queensland. Ian focuses on many of the controversial facets of personal training and constantly challenges traditional methodology to strive for optimal well-being through better fundamental movement. His ability to facilitate the cutting-edge science and research into more user-friendly practical exercises and awareness has seen trainers become more willing to 'change or adapt' their way of thinking.
Associate Professor Steve Selig
- Head of Exercise Rehab at Victoria University, Steve has been widely published in some of the world's best journals.Steve has been a prolific researcher, teacher and publisher in the area of exercise rehabilitation for decades. He is also on the board of the Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Scientists and is a valuable asset to PTA in our quest to bridge the knowledge gap between Personal Trainers and Exercise Scientists. Steve has also developed revolutionary Fitness Testing (VO2 peak) software that enables accurate assessments of fitness levels without complex laboratory equipment. This software is widely used in Hospitals, the Police, fire Brigade and many others.It will soon be available exclusively to PTA graduates.

Annette Lang
- Top US presenter in the areas flexibility, anatomy, program design and busines.Annette Lang has been in the health and fitness industry since 1983, working in sales, education, management and personal training. She is one of the most sought-after presenters at health and fitness conferences in the US and abroad. She speaks on a variety of topics to a number of organisations, including; Perform Better, The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Reebok International, and more. In 2005, Annette presented at international conferences in Moscow and Portugal. She is a Reebok University Master Trainer and helped develop Reebok Reactive Neuromuscular Training (RNT), Reebok Core Training, Reebok One to One Flexibility Training and Reebok Deck Training. She presents for Free Motion Fitness exercise equipment and is one of the original authors for www.PTontheNET.com. Annette was on the original team of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute, developing and teaching the nationally recognized education program for Equinox personal trainers in the US. She currently works as a private trainer in New York City.
Oliver Scott - Exercise Physiologist
- Oliver Scott has an Exercise Science Degree and Graduate Diploma of Applied Exercise Prescription. He has a vast knowledge of sport specific, functional training and injury rehabilitation exercise prescription, as well as experience in a broad variety of sports competition, including rugby and triathlon. He has worked at the Epworth Hospital assisting patients with acute and chronic orthopaedic and neurological injuries. Oliver is passionate about creating positive change for his clients and maximising their potential and is committed to further education to develop his own knowledge and skills to provide leading-edge services.
Matt Brailsford
- B.App.Sci.(Phys Ed) B.App Sci. (Physiotherapy), Matt is one of the best at teaching Anatomy and Human Movement to Personal Trainers. Matt has been involved in the fitness industry for the past 20 years and has run his own sports and spinal physiotherapy clinic for the past 12 years. Having now specializes in clinical rehabilitaton. He has had extensive experience lecturing within the fitness industry and consults both as a physiotherapist and fitness advisor. He works with recreational and elite athletes alike - and also applies this knowledge to his own training.
Russell Jarrett
- Russell has been actively involved in the Fitness Industry since 1990. In that time he has been a Teacher, Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Consultant to Gymnasiums and PT Centres and a Business Owner. He has worked with two AFL clubs as a Strength Coach and spent a number of years as the Melbourne-based Australian Institute of Sport Strength Coach looking after both the Tennis and Golf programs. He is currently the Strength Coach of the AIS / AFL Scholarship program and is the former owner of High-Energy Network - one of the first private Registered Training Organisations to deliver Certification courses in Fitness.
