The Personal Training Academy is excited to announce that we are an approved provider of the Skills for Victoria - Victorian Training Guarantee . This program focuses on giving more people the opportunity to gain their qualifications through Victorian and Commonwealth government subsidised training. The government subsidy is available for both our Certificate III & IV in Fitness.
Eligibility Criteria
- Are you an Australian Citizen?
- Do you hold a permanent visa?
- Do you hold a special category visa (sub-class 444)?
- Are you an East Timorese Asylum Seeker?
- Do you hold a temporary protection visa?
If you answered yes to any of the above, and you are:
- Aged under under 20 years on 01/01/2011?
- Aged 20+ years on 01/01/2011 and applying for a qualification higher than the highest qualification you already hold?
If you answered yes to either of the above, you are most likely eligible for government subsidised training in the Certificate III & IV in Fitness at PT Academy.

| All PT Academy courses are Centrelink approved. All of our students are eligible for Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABstudy and the Pensioner Education Supplement through Centrelink, subject to Centrelink eligibility conditions, for any of our courses. | Parents Returning to Earning - $1000 Grant. PT Academy is an approved provider of the Parents Returning to Earning Grant scheme. These grants can be used towards the costs of any of our courses. The Returning to Earning program provides support to parents to return to work after an absence caring for children. Grants of up to $1000 are available which can be used to cover any costs associated with approved training, such as books and materials, course fees, transport and childcare. Contact AMES to check your eligibility and/or to apply for the Grant. | Students who are eligible for Skills Victoria Government funding, who are also holders of a valid healthcare/concession card, are able to enrol in as many Certificate III and/or IV courses for only $187.50. Self funded students who present a copy of a valid healthcare/concession card are eligible for a 10% discount off their total course fees. |
